An extensive internal alteration of a 1950s home was required for a modern family. A thorough understanding of the needs of each family member was gained before an innovative concept was presented. A 2.5 storey corner of the home was efficiently used with a laundry and bike room located beneath a large bed platform in the teenage son’s room. This process and outcome of this successful project is credited with the new family cohesion and happiness in their new spaces.
